Hey there friend! My name is Dana Finnegan. I am the creator and CEO of The Root Perspective and am here to support your health journey, from the ground up!

I am a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and Educator on a mission to support your search for a natural approach to chronic symptoms that impact your ability to feel good and show up in your life as your best self.

I have been in your shoes and understand the struggle is real when it comes to addressing issues that don’t fit the box of modern medicine. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition and have chosen to work through issues like SIBO, dysbiosis, candida, and IBS…to name a few! After being prescribed medication, I was told there was nothing else I could do. This broke my spirit and pushed me to take my health into my own hands, and I am so grateful that I did.

I discovered Holistic Nutritional Therapy. It has been my most sustainable and consistent source of healing, and I am passionate about sharing it with you!

Nutritional Therapy is a whole-person, food-first approach that looks deeply at the impact of lifestyle and nutrition habits on the absorption and utilization of nutrients.
