Holistic Nutritional Therapy

A new approach to food and whole body health

Here we do nutrition a little different.

With a growing interest in pharmaceutical solutions and medical interventions to solve our biggest health problems, We are losing sight of our most basic human needs to thrive. Though there is an important place for western medicine in health care, we are moving farther and farther away from the simple things we need to prevent disease, increase longevity, and return to a balanced place that promotes whole body wellness. The body has an innate ability to heal and be well, but we must provide the foundational tools it needs to do so and it all starts with food.

Hey there friend! Welcome to The Root Perspective.

I am honored that you have chosen to check out my little corner of the internet and I wanted to introduce myself! My name is Dana Finnegan. I am a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and the brains behind The Root Perspective. After being diagnosed with an autoimmune condition and years of struggle with chronic symptoms, I decided to take my health into my own hands after traditional medicine failed to help me. My eyes have been opened to a huge gap in health care that does not address the foundational needs of the body or basic education on how it works. I started to take note of other people I loved being given band aid solutions and health care options that included one of two things: surgery or medication. It was time for me to do something about it.

I am a believer that there is more we can do to support the health of our body before resorting to such life altering methods of care, and because you are here, I assume you might feel the same way.

The Root Perspective is all about re-introducing the basics; ensuring the body has and can utilize nutrients to support its innate ability to heal and prevent health problems before they start. Nutritional Therapy has been the best thing in getting to the root of my symptoms, and I want the same for you.

Here I offer a variety of services to help you discover your foundational needs and how to support them. My goal is to meet you where you’re at and offer solutions that are sustainable to lifelong health!
